New space seeks to expand the company’s business on North American soil
Schulz of America (SOA), subsidiary of Schulz Compressores, headquartered in Joinville (SC-Brazil), has just moved to a new address in the United States. The new headquarters is located in its own large, modern space in the city of Acworth, which belongs to the greater metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia and now has 3,600 m² of built area.
Strategically located near major USA centers and the world’s largest international airport, the new subsidiary aims to increase Schulz’s market share in North America, seeking not only to boost sales, but also to expand its product portfolio.
According to Fábio Juliano Rosa, Export Manager at Schulz Compressores, the move and expansion of the physical space is expected to be great: “We hope to better serve the American market and thereby increase our market share, increasingly strengthening the Schulz brand”.
With modern architecture and state-of-the-art equipment, the company invested close to US$ 2.5 million to build the new subsidiary. The new space includes an administrative area, training rooms, parking and a product storage area twice the size of the previous warehouse. “We understand that the North American market has great potential and expanding the operation is essential for us to explore this market”, Rosa explains.
Activities at Schulz of America began in 1999, with the opening of the subsidiary in Acworth, and since then the company has been offering the American market a complete line of lubricated and oil-free piston air compressors and block assemblies, screw compressors, scroll compressors, air dryers, as well as filters and spare parts.
