For this reason, Zero Landfill is a trend that has been gaining more and more space in the competitive market.
And Schulz Compressores, attentive to sustainability, implemented this environmental program, seeking alternatives for its waste disposal and bringing awareness to its employees.
Today, 100% of the waste generated in its production operations is sent for recycling. In addition to this, only 0.3%, coming from restrooms, is sent to an industrial landfill.
In cases where it’s not possible to use conventional waste recycling, it is sent for co-processing, where it can be used as a substitute for fuel and/or non-renewable raw material for power generation or cement manufacturing.
