Recognition is the result of evaluating eight fundamental principles, practiced over more than 50 years of history
Schulz Automotiva’s journey towards operational excellence was validated by the Santa Catarina Movement for Excellence (ExcellenceSC), affiliated with the National Quality Foundation (FNQ). Having the largest foundry with integrated machining in the segment in which it operates, the company was awarded the Catarinense Excellence Award (PCE).
The management system was audited by external professionals who scored the practices related to systemic thinking, commitment to stakeholders, organizational learning and innovation, adaptability, transformative leadership, sustainable development, process focus and value generation. The result was the silver level award.
All this development is the outcome of shared team work. Schulz’s decisions are based on tactical, strategic and management committees, which have enabled it to improve productivity and efficiency. The team is highly trained by the Training School, its own organizational development initiative, nationally recognized by the Sesi Quality at Work Award.
Looking to the future has driven innovation to implement Industry 4.0 concepts. Schulz continued to invest, and thus overcame the adversities imposed by the political-economic scenario. The search for competitiveness and loyalty in customer relationships also opened new opportunities.
